In order for parents to access Canvas, students are required to generate a Pairing Code within Canvas. The code generated in this step by students is then used when setting up an Observer Account. Please see the handout “FCACCanvas_CreateObserverAccount2019 for further information. Generate Canvas Observer Pairing Code:
1. Log into Canvas as normal using your College details
2. Once successfully logged in, access your “Account” settings.
3. From “Account” menu, select the “Settings” option
4. From the “Settings” page, select “Pair with Observer” option. This button is located on right hand side of the page.
5. Provide the pairing code to your parent/caregiver as they will need this as part of the signup process
